This year’s theme, Transformative Hearts: Innovate. Educate. Empower., reflects the powerful role each of us play in supporting the American Heart Association’s mission to save lives, improve health, and create a future free of heart disease and stroke. Through innovation, we harness science, technology, and research to drive progress and accelerate breakthroughs. Through education, we increase awareness, promote prevention, and expand lifesaving CPR and AED training to improve health outcomes. Through empowerment, we equip individuals and communities with the knowledge to live longer, healthier lives—and with the training, tools, and confidence to take action and save lives. When we empower others, we do more than inspire change—we transform lives.
A Yearlong Campaign with a One-Night Celebration
Together, we are relentlessly focused on the heart of our community. Through the Phoenix Heart Ball, we celebrate our collective success in driving change, funding science and improving health outcomes for everyone, everywhere. That means taking our efforts beyond the ballroom, working every day to help every heart. For more than 100 years, the American Heart Association has made bold moves to save lives and pioneer scientific discoveries. We haven’t done it alone. We reach our goals working with organizations and individuals who share our vision for better health. The Phoenix Heart Ball unites supporters with a shared purpose to raise the critical funds we need to ensure our work continues. Throughout our campaign we celebrate our milestones, we thank our sponsors, and we honor our heroes. We come together to achieve something bigger than ourselves.
